We've mentioned a few times that we have big plans for Tribesters. And that our Community will play a key role in this, we also have big plans within how we think about the future of gaming

Community Games : Global Games = CG:GG

CG:GG is a new thing. IMHO we think this is a core component of the Future of Gaming. This is how we can bring our Community the most fun, with early game experiences, that build towards something awesome

OK, but what is it?

Connecting Game experiences, and digital assets.

Our Tribesters "Global GAME" is a Social MMO. This is a huge product, that we believe will offer our players and community an incredible and unique experience. These take time to build though - and even as we Build Together, giving our Community influence on the world and gaming experience - we think we can introduce a more interesting approach

What if we also launched Community Games that were smaller and more focused - as we're building out our IP, story and preparing for the build of our Social MMO.

Community Games will provide Digital assets that could be used in the Global Game. Interoperability and unique assets that only can be obtained by playing our Small Games is a key opportunity for our Community and early gamers.

"Community Games" Strategy

  • Focuses on telling the story of the Tribes, Tribesters, and the Island of Solas.

  • They should be fun, lighthearted and engaging. We can break rules here - perhaps looking at multiple genres, unique storylines, backstories, or events in the history of the Island of Solas and the Tribesters.

  • They will be live operated with the Community, and only the Community. You have to join the Tribesters Community to be a part of this journey.

  • Some might be mobile, some only playable through the portal, some on Mavis Hub. We're going to mix it up throughout.

  • We will always launch an early version of the game to our Community NFT holders - this will allow our Community influence and the ability to add to the story as we live operate the game.

  • We then launch new content every 4-6 weeks until the game is complete. This gives us the best option to add in community created content, giving early access, and letting our community experience the full game build.

  • There will be digital assets that can be used in the Big Game, but they will ONLY be earnable / achievable through playing the Small Game. Want that super rare character in the Social MMO? Sorry, only players who played the Small Game could get that. Buy it from them, or play the Small Game to earn it. This mechanism incentivises early engagement - you're gonna want to be early to this party.

"Global Games" Strategy

  • They're big, and ambitious.

  • These are multi-year projects with complex builds and launches.

  • They allow interoperability of key digital assets from Community Games.

  • When our Big Game launches, our earliest Community Members will have the greatest stack of digital assets to increase the enjoyment of the Social MMO.

  • There may be items you can utilise in these games that can ONLY be obtained through digital assets earnable / rewarded for playing the Small Game(s)

  • It'll be the ultimate flex for our community to be able to walk around the Island of Solas with items that players can only earn by being early and playing all of our games.

  • Some of the Digital Assets obtainable in the Small Games will be limited in run, so strictly a first come first served option. Being early in a Community matters.

  • There's an opportunity also to earn items in the Big Game that are helpful to future Small Games too. Interoperability of your own digital assets is a key aspect of the future of gaming
